TimeCAMS Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Cascade Software Systems ("we," "us") handles information in the TimeCAMS mobile application (the "App"). The App lets employees of an organization that uses the WinCAMS system (your "Employer") record and review their labor (timecard) and materials entries from a mobile device.

The App is a client for your Employer's WinCAMS system. The information you enter is processed on behalf of, and belongs to, your Employer.

Information we collect

The App only handles information needed to sign you in and to record your work:

• Sign-in information — your client/agency code, user name, and password, used to authenticate you to your Employer's WinCAMS system.
• Employee information — such as your name, employee number, and division, as provided by your Employer's system.
• Work entries you create — timecard details (for example date, division, activity, earning code, project or service request, road, bridge, vehicle, equipment, repair order, hours, units, and comments) and materials details (for example material, quantity, and related job information).

Information we do NOT collect

• We do not collect your device's location.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, or files for any purpose unrelated to entering your work.
• We do not use advertising identifiers, and the App contains no advertising.
• We do not use third-party analytics or tracking, and we do not sell your data.

How your information is used

• To sign you in to your Employer's WinCAMS system.
• To create, display, edit, and submit your timecard and materials entries.

How your information is stored and transmitted

• Sign-in requests and work entries are sent over an encrypted HTTPS connection to the WinCAMS servers at www.win-cams.com.
• On your device, the App stores your client/agency code and a user identifier so you can stay signed in. Your password is not stored on the device.
• Your work entries are stored in your Employer's WinCAMS system, which Cascade Software Systems hosts and maintains on your Employer's behalf.

How your information is shared

Your information is made available to your Employer (the agency whose WinCAMS system you sign in to) for timekeeping and payroll-related purposes. Cascade Software Systems processes it as a service provider to your Employer. We do not share it with any other third parties except as required to operate the service or to comply with the law.

Data retention

• Timecard and materials records are retained in your Employer's WinCAMS system according to your Employer's records-retention policies.
• The client code and user identifier stored on your device remain until you log out or uninstall the App.

Your choices

• Log out in the App to clear the remembered user from your device.
• Uninstall the App to remove the information it stored locally.
• To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your work records, contact your Employer (the data owner) or reach us at the address below.

Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted transport (TLS/HTTPS), to protect information in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

Children's privacy

The App is intended for use by employees and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
